A Note about Matted Hair:
Pets whose coats have mats (Thick mass of knotted hair ) generally need to be shaved or trimmed very short, they are nearly impossible to brush out. They can also cause large raw patches on your pet due to moisture being trapped which allows bacteria to grow. De-Matting can be very time consuming and painful for the pet.
Long, thick and Short Shedding coats:
Must be thoroughly brushed prior to being bathed to assure cleanliness to the skin and coat. As an example a large long haired Shepard or Newfoundland can nearly take all day to brush, bathe and rebrush. This labor must be factored into the final price. |
